Hide is a collaborative performance between contemporary dancer Lisa Kohlstädt, costume designer Katie Collier and composer/cellist Elliot Murphy. The sculptural costume is constructed from minimally processed deerhide, usually used to make drums. The costume doubles as an instrument, producing sounds which interact with the Cello’s music.

Mana Tipua Tuku Iho is a collaborative project, together with NZ artist Louie Neale. Mana Tipua Tuku Iho describes the mauri whakawhiti, the ancient shape shifting energy that pulsates through the bodies of taniwha and tipua, guiding takatāpui through transformation and ascension. The costume is made from a repurposed wetsuit, sea sponges and hand twined tī kōuka fibres.

Rabbit and Gecko is a conversation with artist Catherine Bagnall (NZ) about dressing up and the environment. The first iteration was exhibited at PQ15 in Prague and took the form of an interactive video installation. The second iteration of Rabbit and Gecko is still to come.

In lizard years I was 52 is a durational performance piece, a hand sequinned lizard suit is inhabited for three months and subsequently exhibited.
